The engine delivers 139 BHP of power and 195 pound-feet of torque. The car will come with a 6 speed automatic transmission.
That’s not all. The plug-in hybrid car also comes with a 60 BHP electrically powered motor that derives its power from a 8.9 kWh lithium polymer battery.
The car can go 26 miles on electricity, and when gasoline and electricity are combined, the range is upto 560 miles. The car provides 48 MPG (Miles Per Gallon) in the city, 44 MPG on the highway and 46 MPG for combined driving.

The Niro 2018 has a power to weight ratio of 73.0 W/kg, and the top speed that is attained is 170 KMPH. Definitely in comparison with the mid level sedans.

Firstly, the car features swept towards the back type head and projector lamps, while the front grille is butterfly shaped. The front bumper is muscular, along with fog lamps that are uniquely designed. It comes with sporty alloy wheels, black glass area with chrome trims, turn indicators, a Hyundai Elite i20-esque tail lamp and a Maruti Suzuki Baleno type tailgate. There’s also an integrated roof spoiler.
Coming to the interiors, the cabin is made very stylish and modern. There’s a 7.0 inch infotainment system supporting Apple Car play and Android Auto as well. There’s a 4.2 inch instrument cluster, dual climate control, cruise control, automatic headlamps and emergency braking as well.
