Despite nothing official out of Nissan on the specs and features for the 2018 Murano, many rumors are already coming in. Leaks out of Asia suggest many refinements will be made when comparing the 2018 model to the 2016 and 2017. We’re hearing much better 360-degree visibility, more cargo room behind the rear seat, and a much better audio system will be seen.
Technology will be a huge focus on the interior of the 2018 Murano. Some of to the top tech features will include valet parking, high definition touchscreen with backup camera and a wide viewing angle, and will also become the center of infotainment for all occupants. A customizable dash display, Nissan Connect, satellite radio, 3rd party app support, USB, AUX input, Bluetooth, hands-free calling, and steering wheel controls.
Other notable features will emphasize safety which will include Nissan’s Advanced Airbag system, blind spot warning, front crash avoidance system, advanced tire pressure monitoring, forward emergency braking, intelligent cruise control, lane change guidance, predictive collision system, and more. Other interior features which will be optional include a dual panoramic moonroof, dual climate control, and a whole lot more.
The 2018 Nissan Murano engine is expected to be a 3.6 liter V6 with at least 260-hp along with a 2-speed CVT transmission. The estimated gas mileage will be around 22MPG/city and 30/MPG highway which will be slightly better than other 2018 crossover in its class.
2018 Nissan Murano Price and Release Date – Platinum, S, SL, and SV Model
From what we’re hearing so far, the launch price of the 2018 Murano will be pretty consistent with the current model. The Platinum will be the premium version offering upgraded features around every corner and will come in just over $40,000.
