The concept of the Honda Fit has made it possible for those looking for a compact car that’s been competitively priced, and offers some of Honda’s premium features. Over the years, the Fit has been comparable with other compact cars from Toyota, Ford, and many others, but hasn’t reached the potential the Japanese auto manufacturer was hoping. This is until the 2018 Honda Fit launches where redesigns to the interior and exterior is looking to give it a much needed facelift.
The 2018 Fit will maintain the same compact concept, but will get a redesign to the exterior making it much more appealing. One of the biggest complaints of the current model is the boring, and less than stellar outer appeal. On the inside, we’re likely to see a much better entertainment package across all models.
In the following preview we take explore the good, bad, and ugly for the upcoming 2018 Honda Fit specs, features, price, and release date for all models including the EX, EXL, and LX.

2018 Honda Fit Specs and Features – EX, EXL, and LX Model
The 2018 Fit will become available in both four door and two door hatchback models, but will offer a much improved exterior design. The boring concept that we have come to know in the Fit over the years will be improved offering more of a modern look. The same compact and efficient premise will be seen across all Honda Car models including the EX, EX-L, and LX models.
The 2018 Honda Fit specs and features will see an improvement on the inside as well improving the dash display and offering more standard features that have been reserved for the EX-L model in years past. Notable features include more comfortable seating, more headroom, better radio controls, less wind noise, and more storage behind the back seat.
The safety features and specs we’ll likely see will improve an already great safety rating seen in the current model while offering options for lane assist guidance, crash avoidance sensors, back up camera, great 360 degree visibility, and much more.
The engine specs we’ll likely see under the hood include a 1.5 liter 130-hp engine with a 6 speed manual and 2 speed CVT transmission. Compared with other compact cars, the 2018 Fit will fall below fuel efficiency getting up to 33MPG/city and 39MPG/highway.
