We’re hearing improvements will enhance the overall comfort, performance, precision, and handling.
Some of the most notable standard and optional features will include a comprehensive technology package including SYNC with MyFord touch along with a colour display. Intuitive controls for climate control, satellite radio, Android and Apple support, music streaming, Bluetooth, hands-free calling, steering wheel mounted controls, and much more. Some of the safety features seen across all models will likely include Adaptive Cruise Control, reverse sensors, and a rearview camera to just name a few.
The 2018 Taurus SHO will become the premium model sporting an Eco Boost engine for more power and will sport some sportier features. The 2018 Ford Taurus release date should be announced at Ford’s annual event during the spring or summer of 2017. The actual launch is not yet known, but speculation suggests it should be late Q3 to early Q4 of 2017.
